SUBJECT: CAMPUS, f/n Marc,
Thank you for your response dated 13 July 2007, in this matter. We will update our database
accordingly.
In answer to your inquiry, the USNCB learned of the original 1982 conviction, later overturned
in 1985, in approximately 1991 pursuant to requests for information on the subject to IP France
on behalf of U.S. authorities. The IP France reference numbers were DCPJ/AC/5APB/BCN NR
5188/GRI/NR 5710/DP/BM/91/5751. Additional detailed information about the conviction,
appeal, and dismissal were later provided by the subject in the context of a Freedom of
Information Act (FOIA) request submitted to USNCB.
Please advise whether you provide approval for the USNCB to release copies of messages
from Interpol France to Mr. and Mrs. Campus.
Best Regards,
End
